About Trotter

At Trotter, horses are at the heart of everything we do. We work alongside Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) professionals, barn and horse owners, and enthusiasts to share the incredible experiences and learning that come from interacting with horses. Founded by two passionate horse owners and entrepreneurs, Trotter emerged from a deep appreciation for equine therapy’s benefits and a practical vision of supporting horse owners with sustainable income.

While EAL may be a new concept, the therapeutic value of horses has been known for centuries. As EAL grows, it follows a long tradition of healing through connection with horses, allowing participants to gain insight, growth, and support in ways traditional settings may not provide.

Our Vision for EAL and Community Impact

We believe that reintroducing horses to more people’s lives has tremendous benefits for all. Over the years, horses have become distant figures in many people’s lives—admired but often misunderstood. We envision a future where horses are not just admired from afar, but where people can experience firsthand their gentle and perceptive nature. EAL provides a bridge, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem that supports both horses and their caretakers, while bringing valuable learning opportunities to a broader audience.

Supporting Equine-Assisted Therapy Through Learning

EAL also presents a promising way to fund therapeutic programs with horses. Historically, equine-assisted therapy has faced financial challenges, often relying on grants or donations that may be inconsistent. By integrating learning experiences, Trotter helps therapy programs find sustainable support, creating new opportunities for growth while reaching more people in need.

At Trotter, we’re here to help in whatever way we can. Whether you’re just exploring EAL or looking for a comprehensive program, we’re ready to support you on your journey. Reach out through our contact page, and we’ll be in touch the same day.
